A signed etching on paper of a European village by listed Austrian artist Franz X. Wolf (1896-1989). The work depicts picturesque architecture situated among a blue body of water and a mountain range. The piece is signed by hand in graphite to the lower right corner. The composition is presented behind glass, beneath beige linen matting, housed in a wood frame with a gilt finish.

Condition

- minor wear throughout the frame; minor water satin visible to the lower left corner of the matting.

- measures the frame; plate size measures 13" W x 16.5" H.
