Vintage Double-Sided Cincinnati Street Signs with Original Mounting Brackets

Item Details

A group of two vintage double-sided Cincinnati street signs with original mounting brackets. Each sign is composed of two rectangular, punched-metal panels featuring raised, white-painted letters and borders against green backgrounds. They retain the original mounting brackets with steel finials and post caps. One sign reads ‘MURRAY RD.’ on both panels while the other is marked ‘CAMDEN AVE.’ on one side and ‘BELMONT ST.’ on the other.

It seems likely that these signs originally stood in the Fairfax/Mariemont neighborhoods of Cincinnati where Murray Road, Camden Avenue, and Belmont Street (now called Belmont Avenue) can be found.
