An oil painting on canvas board by listed artist John Passaro (20th/21st Century), titled Lake at Hudson Gardens I. This impressionist style painting depicts a calm lake bordering a grassy hillside with thin trees gathered in the distance. To the lower right corner is a monogrammed signature. The painting is presented in a black wooden frame with hanging wire, a handwritten signature, date (2007) and title, as well as a typed tag to the verso.
Based in Colorado, John Passaro studied at the Rocky Mountain School of Art in Denver and the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston. He describes his work as ‘Expressive Realism,’ combining representational and abstract elements in his compositions. Both nationwide and internationally, his work can be found in corporate and private collections.
