A lithograph on paper titled Echo Lake by listed New England artist Charles Sawyer (1868 – 1954). The piece depicts a peaceful New Hampshire mountain landscape scene reflected in the waters of Echo Lake to the foreground, rendered in a warm palette of red, green, brown, blue and yellow hues. The print is signed ‘Sawyer’ by hand to the lower right. It is presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- foxing and discoloration to paper; stains and accretion to underside of glass; nicks, chips, scuffing, loose joints and wear throughout frame; frame does not include backing paper; exposed rusty nails to frame verso; stains to verso near lower edge.
