A limited edition printer’s proof serigraph on paper titled Relaxing in Red 2000 by listed Serbian-Israeli artist Itzchak Tarkay (1935 – 2012). This work depicts a woman in bright red room wearing a colorful floral skirt and green shirt in a relaxed seated pose with her arms draped over the back of her chair. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower right and is numbered 17 in a printer’s proof edition of 26 to the lower left. It is presented behind a black mat, behind acrylic glass, in a gold tone wooden frame with a hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- print slightly loose on backing; some white marks and debris to under side of acrylic glass along left edge; marks and scratches to acrylic glass; gap to lower right joint of frame; minor wear and abrasions to frame.
