A watercolor painting on paper by Mexican artist Jaime Oates (1912-2005). This piece depicts to city of Taxco, Mexico, viewed from a rooftop that overlooks the city and the large, central cathedral Santa Prisca de Taxco. This work is painted with loosely formed washes of color, and it is signed and labeled with the city to the lower left. The work is presented behind a brown mat and glass in a wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

- discoloration to paper; accretion under glass; wear to edges and corners of frame; tears to paper backing.
