A hand-knotted Persian Mehriban accent rug. This wool rug features a rectilinear floral design over a strawberry-colored field. Amid a palette of strawberry, slate blue, midnight blue, camel, gray, apricot, cream and powder blue, the field is populated with symmetrical sprays of flowers, framed by compound borders featuring floral and geometric patterns. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with the nubs of unbound wool warp fringe. Unlabeled.
