Antique and Vintage LeMaire Paris and Carl Zeiss Opera Glasses
Item Details
A collection of vintage and antique opera glasses with mother-of-pearl inlay. Featured is a pair of opera glasses by LeMaire of Paris with pink hued mother of pearl, stamped ‘LeMaire Fabt. Paris’ to the eye pieces, and engraved ‘Lida from Herbert, Christmas 1889’ to the bridge. Also included is an additional pair of antique LeMaire opera glasses with a similar design and a pair of vintage opera glasses in the ‘Diadem’ line by Carl Zeiss, made in Germany. Each pair includes its original case.
Condition
- minor surface wear; wear to leather to exteriors of antique cases; untested.
