Alice Naylor Mixed Media Paintings Including "Azaleas"

A pair of mixed media paintings on paper by Alice Naylor, potentially listed artist Alice Stephenson Naylor (1892-1974), one titled Azaleas. Both pieces feature bright, loosely-rendered paint marks and depict flower blossoms against mottled blue grounds. The paintings are signed in cursive to their lower corners, Azaleas marked with the title, artist’s name, and ‘San Antonio’ to its verso. Both are mounted in gold tone frames with hanging wires to their versos.

- wear, chipping, and tonal variations to frames; yellowed tape to versos.
