Item Details
A contemporary Executive Armchair by Charles Pollack (American, 1930-2013) for Knoll. The molded, black plastic frame is reinforced by a polished, aluminum rim and upholstered in brown, button-tufted leather. It features a padded back and seat flanked by open, seamless arms above a five-point base ending in casters. The seat swivels and tilts on a pneumatic pedestal with a height-adjustment lever on the left side. The underside retains a manufacturer’s tag marked ‘Distributed By / Knoll, Inc.’
Originally designed by Pollock in 1963, the chair epitomizes mid-century aesthetics, which still pays heed to comfort and function.
