Circa 1960s Oil on Board Painting of Trumpet Player
Item Details
A circa 1960s oil painting on board by an anonymous artist. The piece depicts a musician playing the trumpet. He is depicted wearing a red shirt with yellow suspenders seated against a mottled olive green background. The unsigned work is treated with a coat of clear varnish and presented without glass in a wooden frame with cream fabric liner, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- scuff marks to varnish coating; small areas of media loss; surface wear to edges and corners of frame.
