A 48-star American flag. The US flew this 48-star flag between 1912 and 1959 prior to the admission of Alaska and Hawaii. It is stamped ‘Valley Forge Flag Co, Spring Creek Penn.’ and ‘5 × 9 1/2 Ft.’ to the heading.
