A antique circa 1760s Welsh dresser in oak with a two-piece construction. It features an upper hutch with three shelves and three rows of hooks, and a base with three drawers with hanging brass pulls and hand-cut dovetails, and a lower shelf. The left-hand drawer has a lock; the key is not included, but the drawer is unlocked. There are no visible maker’s mark.
- moderate scratches, scuffs, wear, and finish discoloration, some hairline cracks with a more significant crack to the top of the base, and the brass pulls appear non-original. Overall good considering age, however.
- total dimensions when assembled. Base height = 31" and hutch height = 42".
