Renaissance Revival American Burl Walnut and Marble Sideboard
Item Details
A Renaissance Revival American burled walnut sideboard with a marble top, circa 1870s. This period piece is comprised of three parts. The top features an intricately carved and incised scrolling pediment over inlaid burled walnut veneer panels flanked by classical motif anthemion corner carvings, and rosette adorned brackets, resting on a marble top sideboard. The lower portion features a rounded walnut case of two small drawers over a pair of cabinets with raised burl panels having roundel accents to the four corners.
