Hand-Knotted Ghiordes Prayer Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Ghiordes prayer rug. This rug has a color palette of fawn, icy gray, black, yellow, and tan. The multi-foil mihrab arch is supported by two columns and a large chandelier hangs from the central point. A chemche gul can be seen to the bottom of the niche. It is framed with geometric panels of diamond lattices and crosshatch motifs. Finished with fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
