A hand-knotted Pakistani Jaldar Bokhara wool area rug. This rug begins with five central octagonal medallions infilled with florets and cruciforms. There are wide multi-layered borders featuring diamond and geometric patterns. This rug is worked in a palette of black and ivory throughout. Selvedges are overcast, finishing with a kilim skirt with an additional panel with framed diamond chains and knotted ivory fringe to each end. Unlabeled.
