Semi-Antique Hand-Knotted Turkmen Ersari Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A semi-antique Turkmen Ersari wool accent rug. This rug begins with two large Ankhoy guls worked in charcoal, accented with white and merigold over a scarlet red field. Framing the rug are barber pole guard borders and a traditional Turkmen Ersari main border with almond blossoms. Selvedges are overcast in black, finishing with long warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
