An oil painting on canvas of sailboats signed by an artist with the name Alexander. This Impressionist style painting depicts a group of single-masted boats leisurely gliding across an expansive body of water, which is raked with a glimmer of light from a hanging sun in the distance. To the lower right corner is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a wooden frame featuring a linen and gold tone inner border with string to the verso for hanging.

- chips with finish loss to gold tone liner; wear to edges and corners of frame; eye hooks protruding through front of frame.
