Item Details
A collection of two First Lady readers and two plates. This lot features the book The Ladies of the White House or In the Home of the Presidents by Laura C. Holloway (1883, Bradley & Company, Philadelphia) and an issue of Scamp magazine from the early 1960s with an article entitled ‘First Ladies from Martha to Jackie.’ Also included are two decorative plates from Silberne Sales depicting the First Ladies of the US, one up to and featuring Hillary Rodham Clinton and the other up to and featuring Laura Bush.
Condition
- book and magazine show tears on covers and discoloration and edge wear throughout; plates show faint discoloration spots; sticker to back of one plate.
