A Pottery Barn Bindu Persian style handcrafted tufted wool pile area rug. Finished in tones of red, clay, olive and sage green, brown, and mint green. Blue-grey backing. The piece presents a central quatrefoil medallion surrounded by interconnection flowers on a terracotta toned a scalloped diamond against a rectangular sage green field decorated with flowers in shades of terracotta, yellow ochre, sage green, cream, peach, clay, and mint green. The field is encircled by floral and leaf reveal border with cream background and a palmette and floral border against a clay background. The primary border features a stylized floral border with golden brown colored ground. The rug presents a multi-toned overcast edge. The area rug is marked to the verso with three labels to the lower corner: ‘WoolMark, Pure Wool PIle’; ‘Kaleen, Carpet Export Promotion Council – India’; ‘Pottery Barn, Bindu Persian Style Rug, Pile: 100% Wool’ with care and cleaning guide on label.
