Salvador Dali Color Lithograph "Vanishing Face"

Item Details

A signed limited edition color lithograph titled Vanishing Face by iconic Spanish Surrealist Salvador Dali (1904-1989). This image, from Fleurs Surrealistes, depicts a face in profile, potentially a self portrait, smelling a red poppy flower. Beneath the flower a nude figure reclines on a beach. The yellow and blue face begins to disintegrate near the top of the composition, vanishing into washes of bleeding color and line drawn insects. It is presented under glass with a white mat in a gold tone wood frame. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso, along with a certificate of authenticity from Collective Impressions.
