Item Details
A Viennese regulator wall clock. The clock features an oak and walnut case with wood urn finials on a steepled bonnet and an ebonized wheat applique on the crest. The clock has elegant side columns with scrolled capitals and urn-shaped plinth with embossed acanthus leaves and carved corner blocks. Other features of the clock include a glass front door displaying a white metal face surrounded by a brass bezel, with black Roman numerals and hands and two brass key arbors. The clock also features a brass pendulum and two cylinder style weights with an embossed floral design on brass pulleys, winding keys, chimes and decorative carved wood finials on the underside with a hook on the verso for hanging. There are no apparent makers marks.
