The tray features a scroll-and-shell rim with engraved floral and foliate detailing to the body and rests on three scrolled feet. The tray is marked to the underside with with the maker’s mark for John Angell & George Angell and hallmarks for sterling silver, the city of London, the sovereign mark of Queen Victoria and the date letter for 1843.
