Item Details
Antique ivory chess set from Davies, Turner & Co. Limited of London. Set includes thirty-two Oriental carved chessman of which sixteen pieces are stained red. Late 18th century fabrication. Includes handsome wood chess board.
Condition
One white pawn has broken weapon, one white knight has broken weapon, white king missing spear, some wear marks to red stain, other wear consistent with age.
