A vintage Japanese Satsuma ware stoneware urn. The urn features a round lid to top with a figurative handle. It has a highly decorative figurative motif in muted colors with gold tone painted details and moriage accents. It is marked in black characters to a tag under the lid.

- light wear and crazing throughout, broken piece on lid, chips to the bottom rim
