An antique Wm. B. Durgin Co. sterling silver and glass sugar caster. The caster features an inverted pear shaped glass body with etched foliate detailing, topped with die-cast sterling silver acanthus leaf detailing at the shoulder and a scroll cut perforated lid with finial. The caster rests on a round sterling silver foot with scroll and foliate design. The caster is marked to the underside with the maker’s mark for Wm. B. Durgin Co. and ‘Sterling’, as well as, marked ‘Sterling’ to the top rim edge.

Condition

- minor surface wear including faint markings and minimal tarnishing.
