Item Details
An unsigned, antique oil portrait painting on canvas. This piece depicts a European gentleman wearing a powdered wig and white cravat. The oval shaped work is presented in a rectangular gilt frame of wood and gesso with hanging wire to verso.
Condition
- wear consistent with age; minor craquelure throughout painting with some paint loss to right side; marks throughout frame and loss of gesso to various areas.
