A Chinese carved wood trunk table with glass top. The trunk having carved vignettes featuring buildings, figures, trees, flowers and scalloped centerpieces carved in contrasting woods on the top, front and sides. The trunk opens to a removable grid shelf and open camphor wood-lined interior. The trunk stands on unique carved feet and includes a rectangular tempered glass top. There are no visible maker’s marks.
