Wm. B. Durgin Co. Sterling Silver Footed Basket
Item Details
An antique sterling silver footed basket by Wm. B. Durgin Co. of Concord, NH and Providence, RI (active c.1880 – 1905). This basket features engraved scalloped and wavy linear designs on the inner lip, as well as beaded and ribbed trim. It has a scroll accented bail handle with pierced details and an oval cartouche at the very top. The underside is stamped with the Durgin maker’s mark below ‘Sterling 50’. The approximate weight is 3.415 ozt.
