An oil painting on canvas of a nighttime lake scene. This Impressionist style painting depicts a calm body of water surrounded by a loose, gestural rendering of a treeline. A small, central moon casts an illuminated glow over the scene below. To the lower left corner is an illegible artist signature. The painting is presented in a thin wooden frame featuring a linen border and gold tone fillet with hanging wire to the verso.
