Needlepoint After Jean-François Millet's "The Angelus"

A needlepoint textile titled The Angelus after French painter Jean-François Millet (1814-1875). This piece depicts two peasant farmer in a field, heads bent in prayer as they stand over a basket of potatoes. The piece was hand-stitched from a guide kit, and has the original artist printed to the verso. It is unsigned and has a Swedish-language label to the verso. This piece is presented behind a plastic protective covering in a silver tone frame with string to the verso for hanging.

- lower left corner of frame bent; surface wear to frame and plastic covering.
