Antique German Biedermeier Walnut Chest of Drawers

Item Details

An antique German Biedermeier walnut chest of drawers. This chest features a rectangular top with beveled edges that overhangs a conforming case with figured walnut veneer. The chest features five full width, stacked drawers. The drawers feature dovetail joints, tear drop handles, and escutcheons. The drawers are flanked by shaped stiles. This piece terminates on block feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

- minor discoloration to stain; nicks, scratches, and scuffs throughout; drawer pulls replaced.
