Pair of Polychrome Louis XV Style Fauteuils
Item Details
A pair of ivory polychromed Louis XV style fauteuils or open armchairs, each having floral carved frames, scrolled handholds and upholstered in a blush and ivory stripe fabric with a gimp trim. The removable top cushions are loosely secured to the frames via roped tassels. The chairs rise up on cabriole legs on scrolled feet and floral carved knees. There are no visible maker’s marks.
