Hand-Knotted Indo-Persian Wool Accent Rugs
Item Details
A pair of hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool accent rugs. This pair offers rugs rendered in similar palettes of cranberry, indigo, ivory, powder blue, rose, sage, and sand. The larger rug is done in a Peshawar style and features an all-over herati pattern to the cranberry field, as well as to the indigo grounded main border. The rug finishes with overcast selvedges and an ivory cotton fringe to the ends. The other rug offered is by Capel and features a Kashan style, with a central medallion and deep spandrels on a cranberry colored field. The field also features leafy and flowering vines throughout, while framed in a stylized herati pattern. This rug is finished with overcast selvedges and an ivory cotton warp fringe to the ends, as well as a label to the underside.
