An assortment of signed Bill Schiffer sterling silver jewelry. Hanging from a choker length espiga chain link necklace is a free form pendant. There is a pair of French hook earrings with dangling forms reminiscent of loaves of bread or gnocchi. Finally, a pair of post back earrings are presented that reminds one of a link from a chain. All pieces are hand signed by the New York jewelry designer Bill Schiffer. Each piece is tested or hallmarked as sterling silver and the total weight inclusive of all materials is 0.760 ozt.

Born in New York, Bill Schiffer rose to prominence as a painter and sculptor in the early 1980s. Though he still works in many two dimensional and three dimensional art mediums, Schiffer is most well known for his unique handcrafted jewelry, which he started designing after a foray experimenting with wearable art in the fashion scene. Bill Schiffer’s art and jewelry has been shown in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, as well as major museums in Italy, Japan, Germany and the United States. His work has been featured in publications including Vogue, Elle, Bazaar, Women’s Wear Daily, Seventeen and Cosmopolitan.
