Hand-knotted North West Persian carper runner. This wool rug features a pole of central hexagonal medallions having double frames of diamond, cruciform and comb elements. These medallions are infilled with and joined by hooked devises worked in a color palette of navy, ivory, pink, powder blue and tan grounded in cranberry. Geometric forms are placed throughout the field including checked boxes, diamond pendants and floral filler motifs.
