A hand-knotted North West Persian carpet runner. This wool rug offers five medallions infilled with memling guls, serrated leaves and mirrored stemmed flowers. Symmetrically placed geometric filler motifs along with numerous combed devises in ocean blue, ivory, rose and tan populate a scarlet red field. Framing this rug is a lobed floral meander border grounded in ivory. Selvedges are overcast, finishing with warp fringe at each end. Unlabeled.
