Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Turkmen wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, wine, indigo, ochre, and ivory. The predominately crimson and wine colored field features an all-over lattice pattern of shields, along with a single heart shape. Framing the field is are borders in a meandering ribbon pattern, a running dog, and a laleh abbasi pattern. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a goat hair warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
