A Hand-Knotted Indo-Persian Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian carpet runner. This wool rug is worked in a tea-washed palette of camel, grey and tan. The mirror design elements include cruciforms, quatrefoil florets, star forms, arrows and rectilinear devises. Framing the field is a compound border of starbursts with stylized palmettes. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with a short kilim skirt and natural warp fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
