A ‘Big Pig Gig’ fiberglass sculpture, created for a public art exhibit on display in Cincinnati, Ohio. Created 2000, titled ‘Miss Pencilline’, decorated by Ursuline Academy students and art teacher Patrice Trauth and Amy Burton. This art creation is decorated with 10,000 pencils, skillfully sharpened to fit the rotund form and to shade the pig’s body from light on top to dark at the bottom. Sponsored by Ursuline Academy of Cincinnati. Includes and is affixed to a wood base.

‘The Big Pig Gig, a public art initiative, brought local artists, businesses, community and arts organizations, schools and individuals together in an unprecedented way to have fun and celebrate Cincinnati’s Porkopolis past. More than 400 decorated life-size fiberglass pigs were placed in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio and Covington and Newport, Kentucky.’
