Antique Heminway & Bartlett Silk Company Spool Cabinet

Item Details

A vintage spool cabinet by the Heminway & Bartlett Silk Company. This piece is composed with three glass front drawers, each fitted with wooden dividers. The fourth drawer is printed with a gilt logo. Each is finished with a metal pull. The drawers include a variety of darning cotton spools in original packaging as well as silk thread spools. The cabinet is marked with a gilt logo to the sides and back: ‘H. & B. Spool Silk.’ Heminway & Bartlett was established in Litchfield County, Connecticut, in 1888.

- to fair; scuffs and scratches to finish throughout, especially on top surface.
