Item Details
A selection of ink and gouache illustrations on paperboard of people on vacation. These three mixed media illustrations depict what appears to be archaeologists conversing with a native guide, a man and woman about to enjoy a leisurely dip into a lake, and two people talking in the cellar of a distillery. To the lower margins is handwritten inscriptions in French, as well as ‘Paris Cocktail’, which was a vintage French magazine circa 1950.
Condition
- discoloration to paperboard; some wear and marks to edges; graphite script to verso of each; slight bowing to center of each piece of paperboard.
