A grouping of four vintage chromolithograph and color lithograph postcards. Two of the postcards advertise the ‘Red Star Line’, which sailed from Belgium to the United States. The card with a cartoon figure guzzling a sack of coins is after listed Hungarian artist Mihály Biró (1886 – 1948), and is signed in plate. These postcards are presented unframed.
Condition
- discoloration throughout; tears along upper edges of paper; smallest item missing half of card.
