A vintage silver plate biscuit warmer by William Adams. Made in England, this three door shell-shaped warmer opens via lower hinged doors with perforated screens to secure the buns or biscuits in place. Founded in 1865 by William Adams in Birmingham, England, many products where exported to the United States, where later U.S. trade marks were registered in 1932 and 1950. The underside bears the Williams Adams pictorial mark followed by ‘EPNS England 411329’.
