Mid Century Impressionist-Inspired Oil Painting of Autumn Trees
Item Details
A mid-century oil painting on Fulton canvas board by an anonymous artist. The Impressionist-inspired autumn scene depicts a grove of trees with colorful leaves in hues of yellow, orange and red, casting shadows upon a grassy field under blue skies. The piece is unsigned. It is matted in cream and presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- to fair; small nicks to canvas board at lower right, with media loss present; discoloration and accretion to board and matting; scuffs, nicks and edge wear to frame; tears to paper backing.
