A limited edition serigraph print on paper titled Salmon Spirit by First Nations’ artist Roxana Leask (Canadian Tsimshian, b. 20th-century), created in 1994. The piece depicts the portrait of a salmon swimming in side profile, rendered in stylized black and red patterns against a cream ground, reminiscent of the formline art styles found throughout indigenous Northwest Coast art. The work is signed in pencil to the lower right, titled and dated to the lower center and numbered to the lower left as 117 out of an edition of 200. It is presented under TruGuard conservation glass in a wooden frame with burled-style finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
