A limited edition serigraph print on paper titled Haida Killer Whale by British Columbia First Nations’ artist Clarence Mills (Canadian Haida, b. 1958), created in 1996. The piece depicts the portrait of a breaching orca whale, rendered in stylized black and red patterns against a cream ground, reminiscent of the formline art styles found throughout indigenous Northwest Coast art. The work is signed and dated in pencil to the lower right, titled to the lower center and numbered to the lower left as 24 out of an edition of 113. It is presented under TruGuard conservation glass in a wooden frame with burled-style finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
