A cross-stitch sampler on open-weave canvas. This piece features three different alphabet samples and an illegible phrase in the bottom row, with different floral borders between each and around the outside. It is presented stretched over a cardboard backing and is unsigned.

- staining throughout; accretion to surfaces; is stapled to cardboard; wear to edges and corners; fraying and missing thread along edges.
