Power-Loomed Karastan "Bergama Design" Wool Area Rug

A power-loomed Karastan Bergama Design wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a variegated palette of rose, sky blue, ivory, mocha, charcoal, and wheat. The rose hued field displays vase forms with flowering and leafy vines, as well as palmettes, and it also features ivory grounded spandrels infilled with vine motifs. Framing the field is a stylized turtle border with cartouches and medallions, along with a pair of laleh abbasi guard borders. Finishing this rug are serged edges and an applied ivory fringe to the ends. The underside offers a label.
