The Juan Sebastián de Elcano is a Royal Spanish Navy four-masted topsail, steel-hulled barquentine (schooner barque) currently ranked third amongst the world’s largest tall ships. This wooden model depicts the ship in full sail. It is presented resting on two black finished supports attached to a light tone wooden base with a brass tone metal name plate affixed to the front.
